Dapper and well-dressed actor Jodie Foster has revealed she has plenty of birthday wishes.
The 60-year-old, who played the title role in TV show The Office, is a regular on the show’s birthday party programme, where she is accompanied by her best friend and co-star Patrick Dempsey, who is 50.
Ms Foster, who also appeared in the sitcom, told the programme’s website: “I have quite a few birthday wishes and I just like to give them to them.”
She added: “As a mum of two daughters I don’t have many, so I thought I would give them some more birthday wishes to add to the list.”
The star said the wish list includes: “For the first time in my life, I am happy and excited to be an adult.
I can now enjoy life in its fullness, I can live a normal life.”
She added that she also wants to meet her daughter, Sophie, and her granddaughter, Sophie’s Boyfriend.
“I’m happy to be a mum and a grandma,” she said.
“The birthday wish list is just something I have been wanting for a while and it’s only now that I can put it into practice.”
The actress, who lives in the West Midlands, said her wishes include: “My daughter and Sophie have a lot of friends and have lots of new things to do and they will be happy to meet me.”
She said she wanted to visit her niece, who she has not seen in more than a year, and spend some time with her family.
Ms Foster is not the first celebrity to share birthday wishes with viewers.
Earlier this year, singer Amy Winehouse shared her wishes with her 1.2 million Instagram followers, including her daughter-in-law, actress Kate Upton.
The US pop star also shared her birthday wishes on social media last year, including those from former US President Donald Trump and actor Jon Hamm.
