The year will be celebrated in a new way.
A new generation of robots will be able to talk to each other and will be encouraged to act.
The first robot to ever interact with a human being was an autonomous robot created by a team of engineers at the University of Oxford in 2017.
They created it in the hopes of making robots more connected, so that they could be used to assist people in the future.
“When people think about AI, it tends to focus on robots,” said Alex Hamer, the project leader and lead author of the paper.

“It’s a really exciting time for robotics, and it’s going to be really interesting to see where we’re going with this,” he said.
“In the future it will be possible to make robots that have the ability to interact with people, and in the near future we may see robots that will even be able be in touch with other robots.”
The paper is published in the journal Nature Communications.
The robot used in the paper is called “RoboClimber”, and it can be programmed to respond to human commands.
Its job is to navigate the streets of an artificial city, and is capable of responding to human speech, which it uses to interact.
The robots will have a human-like body, which allows them to climb stairs, carry objects, and talk to other robots.
The authors say that this could lead to a number of new applications, such as helping to solve problems.
“Roboclimbers are able to navigate a city by using a human’s voice,” said Hamer.
“For example, we can talk to a robot to navigate around us, or we can use our voice to tell a robot we want to take a photo of a building, or a door, and we can even tell a human to stop and take a picture of the building,” he explained.
“These are the types of things that can be done with robots in the next generation of robotics.”
The team hopes that by teaching these robots to use their bodies to navigate in a natural way, it will help them be more intelligent.
They also hope that this robot could help people with Parkinson’s disease.
The researchers say that in the coming years, it is likely that robot and human interaction will become a reality.
“As robots become more intelligent, we will be seeing the first interaction between a robot and a human,” said the paper’s lead author and co-author, Dr Alex Heteriadakis.
“With the advent of this new type of robot, it could be possible that robots will become intelligent enough to understand and be able interact with other humans.”
The research has been funded by the University Research Council, which supports research into the development of autonomous systems, and the Department of Defence.
