President Donald Trump has yet to announce his birthday wishes for the day, but it appears he is planning on putting in a birthday request.
According to Axios, Trump is “saying goodbye” to his supporters after an exhausting campaign in which he failed to deliver on his campaign promises.
“He’s saying, ‘I’m going to be the last president to do a birthday wish,’ so I’m not going to do it, and I’m going with my wife Melania,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said.
Trump’s request for a “Happy Birthday” is the second in a series of wishes for his first birthday.
The first came in January when Trump requested a “Good Morning America” interview.
Sanders said that Trump will be making a “major announcement” about his birthday plans next week, and that it will be announced at the end of the day on Tuesday.
Trump, who has not released his full birthday wishes to date, will be celebrating his 100th day in office on Tuesday, which will be his first full day in the White House.
