By now you’ve heard that the planet’s most beloved creature is returning to the big screen in a big way.
We’ve already seen the first footage of the Jurassic World film, which stars James Franco as the titular dinosaur.
It’s been a long wait since we’ve seen the rest of the cast.
And that’s not even including all the new trailers and merchandise for the film, and its various new trailers for its forthcoming sequel.
There’s so much going on, we’re going to break it down below.
But first, here are our favorites: JAWS: We’ve been told the Jaws sequel will be released sometime in 2019, and this teaser trailer makes it sound like it’s coming to theaters in 2019.
The footage in the clip is reminiscent of Jurassic World, with the dinosaur’s signature cry, and the sound of the iconic Jurassic Park theme song.
Jurassic World 2: The Revenge (2018) This sequel, based on the comics, is about the dinosaurs returning to earth after a collision with a comet.
The film, starring Tom Hiddleston, will take place after the events of Jurassic Park: The Lost World and follow the return of Dr. Richard Roe (Tom Hiddlsons’ Jurassic World co-star) and his team of scientists, who are attempting to save the planet from extinction.
Jurassic Park 4: The Return of Richard Roe is coming to cinemas in 2019 The Lost Kingdom (2019) We haven’t heard a word about Jurassic World 4 since the announcement, but it sounds like the sequel will hit theaters sometime in 2020.
We have to wait and see what Jurassic World 5 will be like, but the teaser trailer does hint at a big screen adventure that is set during the movie’s climax.
Jurassic City 4 (2019-2021) The fourth installment in the long-running Jurassic Park franchise is coming back in 2019 with the addition of an all-new villain, Elisa (Jill Soloway), and her new plan to take down the dinosaurs.
The new footage in this teaser seems to show her assembling a new army of robots, including a giant, robotic version of the original Dinosaurs, and then shooting at dinosaurs that are escaping the city.
Jurassic Days (2019)- We haven: confirmed or confirmed that Jurassic Park 3 will be returning to theaters sometime during 2019.
Jurassic King (2019-) The fourth instalment of the King Kong franchise is also coming to the cinema in 2019 and is set in the year 2019.
We’re told the film will be directed by Jon Favreau and features Chris Pratt, Chris Evans, and a host of other returning stars.
Jaws 3: The New Beginning (2019, 2020) The third instalments of the blockbuster Jaws franchise are also coming in 2019 to theaters.
It seems like the filmmakers will be looking to bring back some of the action and fun that made Jaws such a smash hit in the 1970s and 1980s.
We can expect some of that to be on display.
Jigsaw (2019 and 2020) We’ve also been told that Jigsaw is returning in 2019 for a sequel, and it looks like that film will follow the events that took place in the first film.
We don’t know if this sequel will take a more traditional approach to Jaws, but we know that the plot will be based around the search for the missing woman that was a part of the puzzle piece that allowed the original Jaws to return.
It sounds like Jigsaw will be a big hit, as it’s the fourth instate in the franchise, following Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Jurassic Park and Jurassic World.
There are still a number of details about the film that need to be finalized, but a lot of fans are hoping that a new entry will be made in the series.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2019), a film about the return and the adventures of Bilbo Baggins and company, will also be coming to cinema screens.
Bilbo, Gandalf, Merry, Pippin and the rest are back in the film as they travel the land, fighting goblins and hobbits, as well as the dwarves, giants and trolls.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2019): We’ve heard the movie is set to arrive in 2019 but no further details have been revealed.
We know that it will focus on Bilbo’s life in the Jungle as he attempts to fight his way back to civilization after the destruction of his village.
Jurassic World: The Last Kingdom (2020) The Last King of Atlantis (2019)’s story is set at a later date, so there is no word on whether the film is getting an extended runtime, or whether it will be set in a new universe.
There is also no word if the film’s villain, The Kraken, will be back.
There may be a new villain or two, too.
Jurassic Moon (2020-2022) Jurassic Park 7: The Movie (2019 &
